Rush Limbaugh and liberal hypocrisy

This is just such a perfect example of what really upsets me about our society today.  It’s not that people disagree, and lets be honest here, has there ever been a time in recorded history where peoples didn’t disagree on something?  It’s that the level of intellectual dishonesty has grown to such a level that it makes ones eyes bleed.  Rush Limbaugh, up until last week, had been part of a consortium to purchase the St. Louis Rams.  That is until his name was leaked to the “major media” and the race baiting poverty pimps got involved.  From that point forward it became a media fiasco and an example of why I hold the media in such contempt today.

Rush had commented on his bid, and the media circus through-out last week and the week prior on his radio show, but finally penned an opinion piece for the Wall Street Journal after he was dropped from the consortium.  Other articles point out the hypocrisy of the NFL owners, and the commissioner as well, such as this article that ran on breibart.com, and the Guardian.

But it isn’t simply the hypocrisy of individuals involved that is of the most seriousness here.  Rather, it’s the hypocrisy of our society that is.  Society as a whole turns a blind eye—aided and abetted by the major media, to the racial politicing by people like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.  And they do it in the name of multi-culturalism and diversity.  As if enabling and allowing race baiters to say and do whatever they wish will in any way make up for the racism that was prevalent in America for so long.  “Two wrongs do not make a right”.  Either we look beyond the color of ones skin and judge people on the content of their character, or you don’t.  It is as simple as that.

It seems to me that all the negative vibes this blowhard (Rush Hudson Limbaugh A.KA. Jeff Christie) has been spewing over these many years has come back to blow back on his face (A classic “Blow Back”). He always tries to give off the airs that he can have anything he wants but as we all witness those with more money and more influence tossed him aside like sack of potatoes and the ultimate insult was that it was done in public (money don’t buy you everything butterball).

Now of course he blames everyone else (Michael J. Fox, Perez Hilton, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Sonia Sotomayor, Hillary Clinton, Olympia Snowe, ESPN, NFL, the media, basically people of color, the handicapped, women and gays) when of course all you have to do is listen to his show and plainly hear his daily prejudices filled sermons. So NFL, I salute you decision, job well done. And to the whaling cry baby perched on his self made pedestal, quit your whining it was your own fault. He is reaping what he has sowed, KARMA, “palin and simple” like his followers. Don’t we all feel better?

Different people feel differently about the person of Rush Limbaugh. But I think the larger issue here is that race baiting is rampant, and that it is tearing our nation apart. As I said, either you believe that people should not be “..judged by the color of ones skin, but by the content of their character”, or you don’t. It’s a simple matter to understand, but the same race baiters that are complaining about the “racism” in main stream America are perpetuating racism themselves and using racial politics to put a stranglehold on our society. For some of them — Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton being the two most prominent–it stopped being about race and became about power long ago. It’s about the money and you can google about their cornering the race market and their corporate shake downs if you choose.

In summary, it’s not fair what happened to Rush and I think people like yourself need to stop and think about what is best before you let your poltical ideology kick in. Once you set a precedent you have to live with the consequences. And if you think for a moment that the pendulum won’t swing back to the conservative side of things at some point, you better look to history my friend. What comes around, will definately come back around to bite you in the ass later.
