ACLU sets its sight on Public Option

An interesting piece by Ken Klukowski that summarizes what many, I think, already had been thinking to one extent or another.  Dick Morris also has a piece up today that lays out the costs on an individual basis that is worth a read.  I oppose the public option on cost basis and long term implications alone, but I also have misgivings about Government ordering me to purchase something like insurance.  Obama has argued personally that it is no different from government ordering you to purchase automobile insurance, but I think that is something all together different from what we are speaking about here.  There are nuances to that discussion that simply aren’t present here and I refuse to believe that our founders ever envisioned our government having that much control over our lives.  Let alone that enough of us apparently wish it to be so.
