Remember when then Candidate Obama said the following, and reaffirmed his commitment last fall?

not to increase taxes on families making less than $250,000

Hope and change has struck again.

President Barack Obama said he is “agnostic” about raising taxes on households making less than $250,000 as part of a broad effort to rein in the budget deficit.

President Obama has learned the hard way what he refused to hear in the primary and general election, that there is a vast difference between campaigning and governing. President Obama has never held any executive level responsibilities and has never had to make any hard decisions. Point in fact he was often chided for his penchant for voting “present” on tough, devisive issues in the Illinois assembly where by doing so he could avoid most of the negative consequences for taking a stand.

As Sarah Palin and John McCain told him bluntly during the campaign though, he will not be able to vote present as President. Candidate Obama promised to enact legislation that helped the country out of it’s economic problems without raising taxes on middle-class families. President Obama is now saying that all options are on the table. He needs to raise money, promises or no.
