One man’s apathy is another man’s rejection

It must be very sobering for a man like President Obama, who by reports is notoriously thin-skinned, to have to live with the wide-spread rejection that he’s having to live with at the hands of the Tea Party movement and the political right.  But to also have to live with it at the hands of his own left-leaning activists is an entirely different matterBoy do I wish I were a fly on his wall some daysNext best thing is just to read about his interviews though.

if people now want to take their ball and go home, that tells me folks weren’t serious in the first place.  It is inexcusable for any Democrat or progressive right now to stand on the sidelines in this midterm election.

I can’t speak to all of the reasons why the left is abandoning the President’s agenda, however we do know that at least some are rejecting it for the same reasons that virtually all on the right, and many in the middle are — they believe he’s gone too far and extending government into everyday life that was never intended by the framers.  But President Obama believes it’s all because of the evil Fox News.  Keep believeing that Mr. President.  We’ll see if you still do on the morning on Nov 3rd.
